Berlin – July 2026: With an expanded leadership line-up, Grover, Europe’s leading tech subscription platform, is entering its next phase of growth. The company has appointed managers to nine key functions that will be critical to its success in both the B2C and B2B markets.
Strategic areas such as pricing, customer acquisition, refurbishment processes, as well as finance and controlling, will now be jointly overseen by experienced managers below the executive leadership team. The Berlin-based company continues to be led by Chief Executive Officer Rob Straathof, Chief Financial Officer Thomas Menzel and Chief Commercial Officer Justin Cockerill, all of whom joined Grover in 2025.

Broad expertise: from pricing and customer acquisition to controlling
Grover’s leadership team has been expanded to include the following senior managers:
Nils Roßmeisl, Director of Growth and Marketing, responsible for Grover’s new customer strategy – from acquisition and lead conversion through to brand building. He brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing and growth across start-ups, scale-ups and large enterprises.
René Kleinstück, Director Circular Supply Chain, responsible for Grover’s circular supply chain – a key pillar of the company’s sustainability strategy to rent out electronic devices as often as possible and in excellent condition. He has built and scaled operational supply chains at high-growth companies such as Gorillas and HelloFresh and holds an MBA in Digital Transformation.
Tom Taylor, Head of Commercial Strategy and Performance, responsible for parts of Grover’s commercial strategy, including pricing. He has worked in data, analytics and pricing, including at companies such as Liberis and Raylo.
Rahim Abbasli, Director of Risk and Payments, responsible for risk and payments, including credit decisions, credit checks and collections. He previously worked in credit risk and underwriting in the Canadian financial services sector.
Adi Deshapande, Principal Product Manager, Asset Lifecycle, responsible for the product lifecycle area. He ensures that the value of each device is maximised over its entire lifetime.
Waqas Ali, Director Controlling and Performance Marketing, responsible for controlling and performance management at Grover. He brings around ten years of leadership experience in financial planning and analysis from Blacklane, HelloFresh and SAP.
Lorenz Öder, Head of Structured Finance and Treasury in Finance, responsible for structured finance and treasury and jointly responsible for funding and capital structure. He has many years of experience in these areas from financial institutions such as Citi and PEAC, as well as in a leadership role at Ratepay.
Amy Frantz, Director People and Culture, responsible for people strategy, talent management and employee engagement. She has extensive experience in HR and business leadership – particularly in building high-performance cultures in fast-growing companies.
Andrew Pennycuick, Chief of Staff, responsible for supporting Grover’s leadership team in company-wide strategic planning and execution. He has ten years of experience in management consulting, primarily in customer transformation programmes.
